With the anticipation of a new government in the UK, shadow health secretary Wes Streeting will hit the ground running - with a winter season (and it's inevitable crisis) and ongoing industrial desputes with junior doctors. Elisabeth Mahase ask him about his plans to handle these challenges if elected.
We also find our selves in the puzzling situation of potential GP unemployment in the UK despite a high demand for primary care doctors, Helen Salisbury, GP and columnist for The BMJ explains how we've got into this situation.
Finally, Peter Doshi has been looking at the financial entanglement of FDA heads with the companies they are regulating - 9 of the previous 10 FDA heads have gone on to work for industry in some respect. How and why 1. If you wana be seen on same day probably won’t see a Gp but create hubs where there is GP example change the structure and system use budget wisely create employment and patient satisfaction. And if I can’t go to GP go to a pharmacy they know the drugs /medicine /whatever you call it... You know what I mean. Sorry was quite interesting and thought provoking

When and how = old fashioned way patient centric use technology poor system in corp way of doctors not knowing patients the old fashioned way was best focused on patient centric. Change the actual environment so that areas = more GPS better Healthcare for patients And If you can’t get a GP forget the associates who needs supervision time wasting etc of actual GPS time. Depending on what you come to a GP Example deal with a patient route them to physician assistant with what an actual physician assistant can deal with alone not everyone who comes to a doctor is for maybe cough that could be maybe pneumonia. I could be wrong not sure what physician assistant education is.

Then with GPS have you tried technology with WhatsApp if urgent example if I am sick with cough a GP can hear my cough sound on a call or even a video call have you tried this to assist in extreme overflow of patients needing doctors mitigating the issue of patients not getting doctors attention?

Then why would nurses and people complain about going to work in winter just like normal people we have to go to work. But if the environment working environment is issue for winter change the actual environment structure so winter is better to come into work.

Hi, hope you are in good health and spirits. This was a very interesting topic. So North England has many people looking for jobs I might be wrong. From a geographic perspective just like other sectors normal people move for work. Have you tried opening up new practices. Then why would people complain so much about government pay when to my understanding is that government doctors get paid less but some stay there because of there character wanting to help the public. Some move into private based on personal goals for cash.
